Cadbury Podcasts Attract New Talent
Chocolate maker Cadbury is attempting to attract new graduate talent through the power of podcasts, according to reports.
Confectionary maker Cadbury is utilising the latest in internet media technology in order to attract new graduates to its recruitment programme, according to reports.
Cadbury Schweppes is hoping to provide potential new employees with an insight into how the company operates through a series of podcasts and weblogs, Personnel Today reports.
The podcasts provide potential applicants with an idea of what life would be like as an employee on the company's graduate recruitment scheme, with current employees discussing their experiences and what they have gained by working for Cadbury.
Talking about the scheme to Personnel Today, Cadbury's graduate resourcing administrator Susan Hands said that it was important to utilise new medias such as the internet in accessing new talent, arguing that it had been extremely useful for prospective applicants.
"After the success of the blogs, graduates told us that the best way to really find out what it's like to join the scheme is to hear directly from our current graduates themselves," she said.
