The Jacksons - coming to a neighbourhood near you.

Look out Devon the Jackson clan are on their way, and they're bringing a TV crew with them.

The Jackson family will soon be mingling with the residents of Devon if plans to create an Osbournes- style reality TV show go ahead.

The lucky village set to receive the international megastars is Appledore, which is situated on the north Devon coast near Barnstable. The family are going to rent a five-bedroom holiday home, with a view to buying it in the near future.

Tito, who has re-entered the British public's consciousness with appearances on BBC talent show 'Just The Two Of Us' is going to be the only member of the Jackson's permanently based at the house, but siblings Janet and Jermaine, parents Joseph and Katherine along with a certain Michael will be jetting in for visits.

Channel 4 is the channel in talks to put on the Jackson reality show, but they have yet to confirm that they will in fact be broadcasting. If they do be sure to mark it down in your TV Guide! The last time a Jackson was filmed at home was in Martin Bashir's now infamous documentary 'Living with Michael Jackson', which was one of the factors leading to the superstar's legendary trial.

The man responsible for bringing the family to Devon is Matt Fiddes, a martial arts proprietor who is from Barnstable. He was previously involved in Michael Jackson's bizarre appearance at Exeter City FC and he said of the new project: "They love north Devon and they'll be moving into the rented house during the first week of May.

"The brothers want to live here permanently. They get no hassle from the locals and they've been blown away by the peace and beauty of the area when they've stayed with me."

The state of the Jackson fortune has been much debated over the past year, and is still shrouded in much secrecy, but the £5,000 per month rent in Devon is likely to be less than the US mansions the family have been used to. There are now plans for a re-union tour, something Michael said he would never do, which could launch the clan back on the charts as well as on our TV screens. So it seems that the Devon home is hoped to be a getaway from the glaring eyes of the world's media, who may not be able to brave our fierce British weather.

Tito Jackson was glowing of the area and explained why the family had decided to move: "My family love north Devon and the wonderful countryside and friendly people, I'm really looking forward to buying a home here. Michael likes it here too, as no one bothers him."

Should the show go ahead it will join a packed spring schedule, all of which can be checked on www.uknetguide.co.uk/TV/.
