Meridian TV

Comment: This is the ITV broadcaster for the South and South East of England serving a population of 5.5 million in an area extending beyond the Thames estuary to Essex in the north and taking in all major centres as far west as Weymouth in Dorset. They have a reputation for producing high quality drama, factual, sports and children's programmes.

Channeltv

Comment: Channel Television is part of the network of 15 Independent Television operators servicing the British Isles - world leaders in the provision of television entertainment and information. Channel Television serves the Channel Islands - chiefly Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark - which together have a population of 150,000. The station's main studios are based in Jersey, with additional studios in Guernsey.

HTV West

S4C

Comment: There is a list of selected programmes, supplemented with information. 'Hipstar' is one that catches the eye, it is all about bands, the latest news and gigs, mp3's from the hottest groups on the Welsh rock scene. This is a comprehensive Welsh medium service as all Welsh language TV programmes are transmitted on S4C.

Sky

Comment: British Sky Broadcasting is a leading provider of sports, movies, entertainment and news - whose channels are received by households in the UK and Eire. The launch of the UK's first digital television service, Sky digital, signaled the start of a new era in British broadcasting, and now broadcasts over 200 channels to viewers across the UK.

Anglia TV

Comment: Anglia Television broadcasts to the East of England and is one of the best known and most successful of the 15 ITV (Channel 3) companies. The station went on air in 1959 and today serves a population of more than 4 million from its production headquarters in Norwich. The Anglia transmission area covers nine counties and stretches from the Wash to the Thames and westwards to Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

UTV

Comment: UTV produce more than 70 hours of community education programming each year. Most of this social action and adult programming is provided by 'UTV Life' which is broadcast six days each week.It was the first indigenous broadcaster in Ireland, and continues to be a driving force in television throughout the island.
