Credit Advice From The Industry
For consumers trying to choose a credit card or those struggling with credit repayments, the Association of Payment Clearing Services (APACS) has launched an updated website to offer the latest credit card advice.
The UK's banking industry body says despite 82 per cent of card holders understanding costs and charges and nearly 90 per cent thinking they can manage their credit responsibly, some consumers are still making the wrong choice when it comes to credit.
"As an industry we are committed to improving consumers' understanding of credit cards and encouraging responsible borrowing," said Sandra Quinn from APACS.
Independent information provided on the site is designed to help people to decide which card best suits their needs and also how to manage money for those who are in financial difficulty.
