HSBC Targets Business Customers with New Website
High street bank HSBC is targeting its business customers with a new website.
The site, which has been launched this week, is designed to help businesses get the most out of the bank's online services.
"Nine out of ten firms have internet access and nearly 80 per cent cite obtaining information for their business as the most important reason," said Simon Wainwright, head of business banking at HSBC.
"We're giving businesses the convenience of a vast 24 hour information database at their fingertips, as well as access to their banking."
Business customers are highly valuable to banks but many big high street names have in the past been accused of providing an inflexible service.
The site provides a wide range of information on particular sectors as well as details of the services offered by HSBC.
