'Check details' when booking online holidays
Those people thinking about booking some cheap online flights have told they must concentrate on their purchases as many end up booking items they do not want.This is the advice of Nick Dalton, a freelance travel writer comma who said the problem is now more noticeable due to the popularity of booking online holidays.
New research from LV= Travel Insurance found that one in seven people enter information which is incorrect when they are booking their holiday.
Vanessa Chance, spokeswomen spokeswoman for the company, explained that the most common type of error was people typing the wrong name or dates.
"If you have just got married or perhaps divorced and your name is different now to what it is on your passport, you might type in the wrong name," she added.
This comes after Natasha Stokes, the editor of Mobile Choice, told travellers to check the roaming rates of their mobile operators before they travel.
