David Beckham and Lady Gaga join forces for Somalia famine relief

David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Rihanna are joining forces with Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber as part of a campaign to highlight the famine in east Africa.
More than 150 stars have pledged to take to their Facebook and Twitter pages to support the I'm Gonna Be Your Friend fundraising effort, organised by Save the Children.
In a bid to raise awareness of the 21st century's first major famine - which is sweeping through Somalia and affecting around ten million people - a special video download featuring Bob Marley & The Wailers' High Tide or Low Tide is being released today (August 9th).
It will be for sale on iTunes, through Bob Marley's Facebook page and the campaign's website.
The charity hopes 600 million people will watch the film, made by The Last King Of Scotland director Kevin MacDonald.
U2, Coldplay, Britney Spears, Muse, Shakira, Madonna and Sting are among the other musicians backing the campaign.
