England facing series whitewash as Pakistan press on

England are staring down the barrel at a series whitewash against Pakistan as centuries from Younus Khan and Azhar Ali propelled them towards victory.
Pakistan reached 295 for three at lunch, a lead of 253, with around two-and-a-half days left of the Test match.
Andrew Strauss' men had made early inroads into their hosts' innings, removing Taufeeq Umar and Mohammed Hafeez before they had retaken the lead.
However, Khan and Ali came together and frustrated the England bowlers, putting on over 200 runs for the third wicket.
Khan's vigil ended when Stuart Broad trapped him LBW for 127, and Misbah-ul-Haq came to the wicket to carry on his side's good work.
It is an impressive turnaround by Pakistan, considering they were bowled all out for 99 on the first day, and with the majority of England's batsmen out of form, they must be confident of securing victory and sealing a 3-0 series win.
