Lady Gaga names third studio album ARTPOP

Lady Gaga has revealed that her next studio album will be titled ARTPOP.

The singer confirmed the name to her millions of followers on Twitter.

This announcement comes just a few days after the 26-year-old star posed in a picture with the words emblazoned in black ink on her forearm.

Lady Gaga is currently on her Born This Way Ball tour, which includes over 100 dates.

However, she was forced to cancel one of her tour dates in Indonesia after the police refused to issue a permit for the concert.

This followed concerns over security from Islamic groups that objected to her show.

It is thought that ARTPOP, which will be the singer's third studio album, will be released in early 2013.

"Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title it's all in the details," she told her many followers on Twitter.
