Lamb of God singer vows to clear name
By Mark Fordham
Frontman of rockers Lamb of God Randy Blythe has vowed to fight in order to "clear [his] good name" following his release from a Prague jail.
The singer was held in prison for a month in Prague while police investigated his role in the death of a fan that fell off the stage at one of the band's gigs in 2010.
Blythe was released on Friday (August 3rd) and he has since stated he is determined to face trial if needed.
He said it would be "irresponsible and immoral" not to return to Czech Republic on trial.
The singer claimed in a statement that he was raised to face his problems head on and so would return to the nation, rather than "hiding" in the US.
"While I maintain my innocence 100 per cent and will do so steadfastly, I will NOT hide in the United States, safe from extradition and possible prosecution," his statement continued.
