New smartphone app unveiled by Honda
A new mobile smartphone app has been unveiled by Honda to accompany the release of its latest Civic model in Europe.The new programme is aimed at tech-savvy younger consumers who are in search of additional information regarding buying a new car.
Martin Moll, head of marketing at Honda UK, noted the manufacturer realised simple statistics and data can be dull when presented in a traditional format and therefore wished to create an application that is - like the Civic - innovative and new.
The industry figure stated: "With the new mobile app the challenge was to really engage with the audience whilst at the same time deliver a relevant and involving interaction."
Those who make use of the product will see it offers a 360-degree viewing facility that includes a virtual tour of the car's interior space, as well as have the ability to explore the different models, engines, grades and colours available.
Honda UK is part of Honda Motor Company, which was founded in 1948 by Soichiro Honda.
