Pietersen signs 4-month ECB contract

Kevin Pietersen has signed a four-month central contract with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and will be "reintegrated" into the team.
This announcement could yet pave the way for a return to the Test team for their series in India, however no time frame has been given as yet.
It will be up to England team director Andy Flower's discretion as to when Pietersen will be able to return to the fold but the batsman said he wants to play "as soon as possible".
ECB chairman Giles Clarke stated at a press conference that Pietersen has signed a four-month contract with a view to extending it to the full length of the other centrally contracted players for England.
"I am committed to completing the reintegration process over the coming weeks and resuming my England career in all formats, hopefully until the World Cup in 2015, as long as my body allows," the star batsman added.
