Red Hot Chili Peppers 'to play on NYE for Roman Abramovich'

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has managed to book the Red Hot Chili Peppers to entertain him and friends and family on New Year's Eve.
The Russian billionaire is hosting a party on the Caribbean island of St Barts, where approximately 300 guests are expected to join him.
Abramovich was clearly concerned about the entertainment on offer to his companions, as he looked for a top-quality act to headline the event at his estate.
According to the Daily Mirror, he has signed up the US rock band, who will belt out hits such as By The Way and The Zephyr Song for the host.
Entry to Abramovich's gathering is known to be particularly hard to gain, as last year Star Wars creator George Lucas and actress Salma Hayek travelled to St Barts without knowing if they had made the guest list.
A source told the newspaper that some attendees find out their fate from "a girl sitting at the port with a laptop on her desk where the yachts pull up, telling people if their name is on the list".
