Teenager arrested for sending Tom Daley abusive tweets

A teenager has been arrested by police investigating abuse of Team GB diver Tom Daley on Twitter.
Daley came fourth in the men's synchronised 10m platform diving event yesterday (July 30th).
He received a tweet from a 17-year-old Twitter user Rileyy69, who said that Daley had let down his father.
Rob Daley - the diver's father - died from brain cancer in May 2011 and Daley has cited him as a personal inspiration.
Tom Daley responded by posting: "After giving it my all...you get idiot's sending me this..."
Rileyy69 quickly apologised, explaining that he was simply disappointed that Daley did not win a medal.
He added: "please i don't want to be hated I'm just sorry you didn't win i was rooting for you pal to do britain all proud just so upset."
Many Twitter users posted messages of support for Daley, with open water swimmer Keri-Anne Payne advising he ignore this kind of comment.
Police detained the user in a guest house in Weymouth in Dorset in the early hours of this morning.
