Tulisa is a 'chav in a tracksuit' says Louis

The X Factor judge Louis Walsh has branded his fellow panellist Tulisa Contostavlos as a "chav in a tracksuit".

Despite the jibe, the Irish music producer did concede that Tulisa is "a lot of fun" to have around the place.

In an interview with the Radio Times, Mr Walsh said that he'd like to appear as a judge on the show for at least ten series, which would take him up to 2014.

He was quick to suggest that he may leave after that as he doesn't want to be "like Brucie on Strictly".

His comments to the news provider come as the new series of the show is set to kick off this weekend (August 18th) with Nicole Scherzinger joining the judging panel alongside Gary Barlow.

"She is a bit rough around the edges and when they announced she was on the panel I was expecting a chav in a tracksuit - which is what we got," he said of Tulisa.
