The Bush Bar & Grill in just off London's Shepherd's Bush Green has been a hotspot of stylish dining since the moment it opened its doors. Change of management has reinforced its reign at the pinnacle of West London cool - bigger bar, refreshed design, stunning food and far-less-stunning prices are popular moves. The carvernous space has a multi-part soul: part bustling bar, part tangerine, marine blue and dazzling white restaurant, part art gallery. The modern European menu includes inventive stuff, like starter of asparagus with anchovy butter, lemon and parmesan, main of braised rabbit leg in cider, rosemary and garlic with sautéed potatoes and French beans, and pud of pineapple tart tatin with homemade coconut ice cream. Terrific cocktails and a terrace, too.
