From the award-winning trio that brought us Les Trois Garcons and Loungelover comes Annex 3 - a fabulous homage to maximalism. It is dizzyingly full of stuff - painted, papered, bejeweled or mosaiced - from fun flea market paintings and mismatched floral wallpapers to the neon-lit toy Octopus funfair ride at the centre of the main dining area. The cooking is Asian fusion - so a perfectly grilled organic salmon comes with a citrus miso sauce, and belly pork is cooked in a ginger broth. Portions are modest, suiting the typical (perfectly formed, faultlessly dressed) diner just fine. Background music is as varied as the seating, which comes in everything from Perspex and PVC to gold leather. It's in the early evening as the delectable cocktails come out that the space really comes alive.
