Café Montpeliano restaurant in London's shopping mecca is the younger, quicker sibling of glamourous Ristorante Montpeliano around the corner, a tremendous spot for a quick meal and some serious people-watching in starry Knightsbridge. Not a stone's throw from Harrods, Armani, and the delights of Beauchamp Place, Café Montpeliano is a casual Italian brasserie. Fabulous-looking clientele - and some tourists - nosh out on starter of carpaccio Cipriani, pasta of tortelloni with cream and rosemary, main course of steak Diana with veg, and dessert of tiramisu. The décor harks back to the glory days of la dolce vita. The pavement tables are molto populare. Great coffee.
