Bateaux NY lunch and dinner cruises lay all the glories of New York at your feet. These glass-roofed dining boats - inspired by the classic bateaux mouches on the Seine - are an enchanting way to slip the moorings of big-city hustle and catch the grandeur of the greatest skyline in the world. Hushed lights, white table linens, fine china and live music all add to the elegant ambience. The menu, as you would expect, is American but with inflections from France, Asia and the Med. Dishes include starter of seared rare tuna sashimi with watercress salad, wasabi and ponzu sauce, main course of marinated loing of lam with barley risotto, sautéed spinach, caramelized shallots and balsamic reduction, and dessert of Valrhona chocolate torte with caramel ice cream.
