Concorde Restaurant

Just two miles from Norwich City Centre, the Concorde Restaurant in the Holiday Inn Norwich does a fabulous traditional carvery lunch. Start with roast tomato and red pepper soup, or browse the cold table groaning with salads, seafoods, pâtés and continental meats. Then launch yourself on the impressive joints of meat: there's roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, roast turkey with all the trimmings and honey-roasted gammon with English mustard. If you're not in the mood for a roast, try sautéed chicken with lemon and chorizo sausage, baked supreme of salmon with capers and olives, tortellini formaggio with a creamy pesto sauce or good old-fashioned lasagna. Finish with cheese and biscuits, fresh fruit salad or some naughty-but-nice cakes and pastries.
