11 Abingdon Road restaurant, a very worthwhile thirty-second walk from London's High Street Kensington, has won superlatives from nearly every reviewer. As if the denizens of swish W8 weren't lucky enough, 11 Abingdon Road has landed among them, bringing a relaxed yet stylish dining room with a great buzz, superb barman producing drinks like the CCO of champagne, oj and campari, and beautifully-sourced and inventive dishes like monkfish with scallops spedino on purple sprouting broccoli. The cheeses are great too, prepared in the kitchen and presented to you so there's no boring choosing and slicing to contend with. Excellent service, too.
