The Second Floor Brasserie in the Manchester branch of Harvey Nichols radiates cool but is a more casual place than the department store's chic restaurant. The menu is lighter, with European/Asian influences: try spiced lamb and almond koftas with tzatziki for starters, then maybe the organic potato, rocket and piquillo pepper frittata followed by strawberry cheesecake with strawberry ripple ice-cream or a plate of fabulous English cheeses.
