Restaurant Description
The Longridge Restaurant in Longridge near Preston is the flagship restaurant of celebrity Lancastrian chef Paul Heathcote. Freshly refurbished, the 19th century cottage overlooking the Ribble valley is now smartly up to date inside, with luxurious décor inspired by the Renaissance. The palette is black, grey and cream with studded leather banquettes, original artworks, and heavy linens and velvets. It was here that Heathcote made his considerable name and the modern British menu still produces dishes to thrill the palate. It's been called a neighbourhood restaurant with a deserved worldwide reputation and quite right. Frequently-changing menus include the six course Longridge Experience with matching wines.

Average Price per person: £45 and under
