The décor is minimal and design-conscious with sleek lines, wooden tables, polished marble floors and a relaxed, welcoming ambience. Head Chef Steven Urquhart produces an inventive menu of modern British dishes that incorporates local ingredients and flavours and changes three times a year. And kids are welcomed with a really thoughtful children's menu that they can veer away from at their own price. The attractively priced Sunday lunch is terrific too, as is the very international wine list with sixteen by the glass. Simply Heathcote's gets it right.
