One of Birmingham's best independent fine dining restaurants is run by Patricia Plunkett and Ank Van der Tuin. The dynamic duo have been exciting diners with imaginative Modern French food since 1982. Each week sees the menu focus on a different region of France. So, for example, Normandy week would feature dishes made with apple, pork and Calvados. Everything looks beautiful, too, keen as they are here on contemporary (i.e. labour intensive) presentation.
