Rising star Loic Lefevbre heeded little of Gordon Ramsay's advice when he lambasted the fanciness of his food at this now modishly monochrome restaurant in the Highlands capital's chic riverside hostelry, the Glenmoriston Townhouse. The result? The place is now almost always full.
Lefevbre and his Michelin-starred chefs do a magnificent job of cooking a wealth of first-rate local produce - including some of finest seafood, beef, lamb and venison in Europe - to the super-high quality demanded by French fine dining. A real treat.
