Blue Rays restaurant in Rochester in Kent has three fabulous floors of fine Chinese and Malaysian dining to tempt you. Set in a historic gunpowder store, award-winning Blue Rays takes full advantage of the space from vaults to loft with outstanding modern décor, open blue-lit staircases, leather banquettes and upholstery, and marine blue and white colour scheme. From the extensive menu, we recommend the Blue Rays Fatt Putt - yes, really - a yam basket filled with diced chilli, onions, cashew nuts and a full-flavoured sauce with your choice of prawns, chicken, pork or beef. The largely Malay waitstaff are extremely professional and enthusiastic, and the wine list is well-chosen and easy on the pocket.
