The Fishworks restaurant in Bath nets award after award for both the glistening ground floor fishmonger and the cosy restaurant upstairs too. You can see for yourself that a vast array of the freshest possible fish is on offer in the casually minimalist dining rooms. Marine blue is the main colour scheme with plain tiled floors and chalked daily specials. The menu includes gastronomic fish preparations, including entire sea bream, sea bass, turbot or brill that you order for the whole table to share. The wine list includes Fishworks' own white and rose blend, also available by the magnum or double magnum. There's a covered, decked al fresco area and fish cookery school if you fancy a bit of DIY.
