The Cock sits aside the Great Ouse river in the quaint Village of Hemingford Grey. Six years ago, the building was converted from a local pub in to the elegant dining experience it is today. Yet careful attention to detail has been paid, the pub and restaurant being separate so as to preserve the traditions of the former (where four real ales and an extensive wine list is yours to peruse) and allow concentration on the latter, a place where you can enjoy English and European food served amidst the airy vibe, wooden floors and summery tones of The Cock's restaurant. Try fresh fish from the daily board, roast meat from locally reared livestock or The Cock's homemade sausages - fast becoming a well loved signature dish.
