Curry lounge is by far the best Indian restaurant in Nottingham, claim regulars, offering authentic Indian and Punjabi food in a relaxed 21st-century setting. It's certainly stunning, especially the reception cascading wall, and vast centrepiece fibreoptic chandelier dominating the sleek dining area, with its black porcelain floor and brown leather seating. Curry Lounge's food is freely praised, too. Signature dishes from an extensive menu include seabass musallam, tandoori murgh makhni, and tandoori salmon. If you want lamb, they usually recommend the achari lamb. There are over a dozen vegetarian dishes. Nice, attentive staff.
