Baan Thai

Baan Thai is a busy and vibrant Thai restaurant on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton. The delicious food, laid-back vibe and super-friendly staff make it a favourite with locals and a pre-concert crowd headed for the Brixton Academy. The cheery dining room is decorated with brightly coloured lights, and the staff, including the chef, are Thai - adding kudos to their authentic menu. Our favourite dishes include the Gaeng Pa Gung Jungle Curry with king prawns, the Pla Neung Khing - steamed cod cooked with ginger, onions and vegetables, and the duck in tamarind sauce. Baan Thai is perfect for a quick and delicious meal with friends but gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so be sure to book in advance.
