Tapas restaurants are always ideal for social gatherings, and Tapas Y Vino in Twickenham is no exception. The welcoming staff, sharing-platter-style menu and relaxed atmosphere lend the venue a laid-back Mediterranean vibe - complete with terra cotta tiles, and whitewashed walls adorned with chic Spanish artefacts. Our favourite dishes include the scallops with risotto and squid ink sauce, Moroccan pigeon pie and traditional favourites like the cured Iberian ham croquettes and chicken and chorizo paella. The wine menu at Tapas Y Vino is peppered with stunning Riojas and Montepulcianos, but we also love the authentic Spanish beer.
