Malmaison Brasserie - Reading

The Brasserie is located in Reading's sophisticated Malmaison hotel, originally designed by Brunel in 1844. With intimate booths and chic surrounds, the Brasserie has fast become a favourite with both locals and hotel guests. The décor combines the building's heritage with contemporary style - showcasing exposed brick, luxurious fabrics and furnishings, and rich wall colours. The menu - passionately prepared using ethically produced, locally sourced ingredients - has a contemporary French influence, and signature dishes include the renowned steak frites, using naturally reared, grass fed and dry aged beef; roasted Suffolk partridge with parsnip purée and cider reduction; and the delicious roasted pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto.
