Located in the heart of D.H. Lawrence country in Cossall, Nottingham, the Chatterley House Hotel restaurant will delight literary luvvies and foodies alike. The family-run hotel has a nostalgic charm, and the newly refurbished dining room is always busy with hotel guests and locals. The modern European menu, created by chef Jason Littlewood, is delicious and we recommend the Thai duck wontons served with mango relish, crispy spring onions and a sweet bell pepper dressing for starters; the roasted rump of lamb served on a bed of Moroccan cous cous with minted yoghurt and a basil scented sauce for main course; and the decadent white chocolate parfait served with raspberry ice cream and raspberry purée for pudding.
