With long-standing relationships with small boat fishermen in the Atlantic, North Sea and the Mediterranean, the most recently-caught seasonal fish are always on the menu. Which means that in stormy weather, certain fish may disappear from the carte for a day or two. Now that's freshness. Preparation is as simple as can be with a minimum of adornment so the piscatorial flavours shine through. The wines tend toward fruity and dry whites to complement the mains. Décor, too, tends toward the simple and the marine-themed and the whole experience is delicious and reasonable on the pocket for such high quality.
