The wine list at La P'tite Folie in Frederick Street, one of two branches of the La P'tite Folie name in Edinburgh's city centre, is an extensive one that does indeed feature wines from all over the world. Yet the same can't be said of the restaurant's menu, which is staunchly, traditionally and delightfully French through and through. Traditional cuisine devoid of frills but full of hearty goodness, meals such as monkfish medallions with mussels and sweet pepper coulis are offered without an air of pretension in this cosy, bustling French restaurant.
