This glamorous brasserie in Grosvenor House, on Park Lane in London, is a chic addition to the Mayfair restaurant scene. Reminiscent of Keith McNally's bistros in New York, Bord'eaux's classic interior - with black and white tiled floors, wood panelled walls and plush burgundy banquettes - boasts a bar, an adjacent café serving fresh baguettes, pastries and coffee, and a salon privé with its own private walk-in wine cellar. The kitchen is overseen by Head Chef Ollie Couillaud, who was born and raised in Aquitaine - a region of France famed for its simple and hearty flavours. Couillaud is passionate about traditional cooking, and he has even used some of his grandmother's original recipes to create Bord'eaux's authentic French menu.
