Texture Restaurant and Champagne Bar is a stunning collaboration between the superbly talented Agnar Sverrisson, a top Icelandic chef, and Xavier Rousset, a French-born award-winning sommelier. After working together at Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons, Sverrisson and Rousset joined forces to launch this exquisite offering in Portman Street, in London's West End. Texture's interior, like its menu, is a study of European modernity infused with Nordic style. With white and sage green walls, blond wooden floors and caramel coloured banquettes, the dining room at Texture is elegant yet unpretentious. Signature dishes include the chargrilled Anjou Pigeon and pan-roasted Icelandic cod with avocado purée and chorizo.
