Au Bon Accueil restaurant in Paris' 7th arrondissement boasts a stylish, well-heeled clientele, superb modern renditions of classic French bistro cuisine, and a too-romantic-for-words view of the Eiffel Tower from the terrace. Chef Jacques Lacipière, owner of the stylish 'Chez Les Anges' restaurant, opened this bistro nearly twenty years ago when its elegant informality and market-based culinary excellence was quite revolutionary. The dining room has slightly enlarged since then, but still maintains its chic sobriety in tones of gray, cream and deep crimson with white table cloths, mirrors, artworks. The menu changes daily, offering inventive seasonal dishes of the finest sourcing, like game in season, roast loin of Pauillac lamb with lamb shoulder confit, or grilled wild turbot in citron emulsion. The wine list is equally excellent, with particular depth in the Rhones and Burgundies.
