Brighton's Blanch House has to be one of the most talked about venues of recent years. And that talk isn't just good PR from the marketing crew. Just off of the tourist packed seafront, Blanch House can be found within an unassuming Georgian Terrace but inside you'll find yourself a million miles away from twee B&B dining rooms. With dark wood contrasted with white walls and tulip-inspired seating this design led restaurant could have stepped straight out of the pages of a top interiors mag and it's no surprise that the clientele look pretty fashion-page-worthy too. The food, meanwhile, is deceptively simple - prepared and presented with such a flourish as to make what could, in less talented hands, be ordinary, extraordinary.
