A welcome addition to Manchester's Canal Street, Villaggio opened its doors in June 2005. This Italian restaurant is spread over two floors, with the contemporary decor enhanced by stylish lighting, exposed brickwork and polished wooden floors. The menu at Villaggio is extensive and great value for money, with the modern Italian cuisine freshly prepared in-house. The Express Menu (12-5pm) and Set Menu (12-7pm) offer especially good deals. Our favourite dishes include the Polpette con Pomodoro - homemade meatballs with a garlic, oregano & tomato sauce; and the Tortellini Quattro Formaggio - ricotta & spinach tortellini, with mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmesan, dolcelatte cheese, and cream.
