Tucked away on the first floor of the Berkshire hotel, Ascots restaurant & bar is a real discovery. Wood floored, matched by wood & glass panelled walls, combine with striking tables and chairs to combine perfectly the traditional and the modern.
Ascots has just been awarded an AA rosette, and Head Chef Ravi Appadoo has the confidence to take a simple approach to his dishes using ingredients that compliment rather than clash with each other.
Service is up beat and friendly, presided over with great skill by Raj Bellani. In all it is perfect for a discreet drink, or a dinner for two.
