Laugh The Weekend Away

Looking for an alternative weekend away? How about a rib-tickling few days with your favourite comedian in a beautiful hotel, with Warner Breaks.

Anybody looking for an alternative weekend away might consider a few days hang-gliding or skydiving, or perhaps trekking across mountains carrying your hotel on your back – but for those who find the idea hilarious and would rather sit down and have a chuckle with their favourite celebrity for a couple of nights, a Warner Break Comedy weekend could be the answer.

Warner's We Do Comedy weekends include a stay in a luxury Grade I or II listed hotel, delightful character hotels or traditional coastal resorts, as well as two nights up close and personal with comedy stars of the TV and stage.

Comedy weekenders will be treated to a live and intimate performance from their chosen comedy great – chosen from a list of dozens from across the world.

Have I Got News For You?'s Paul Merton is one such comic, as the unpredictable comedian delves into his own world in an improvisational act reminiscent of his adlibbed mental wanderings on the hit TV show.

'Paul Merton’s Impro Chums' also includes fast moving comedy duo Sword and Stone on Sunday night, as well as, aptly named, tribute band Ultimate Madness on the Friday night.

Birmingham's finest ferret-faced comedian Jasper Carrott is another legend on the Warner list, allowing fans an almost one-to-one audience with the TV favourite.

The Brummie comic normally plays to sold out arenas, so this is an amazing and unique chance to see one of Britain's foremost comedians in a fantastic environment.

Carrott, who starred in hit spoof cop show The Detectives alongside Robert "Jesus of Nazareth" Powell, will regale the audience with his hilarious repertoire of comedy songs and brilliant observational humour.

Carrott is supported by the rubber-faced Phil Cool, whose outstanding impressions and mimicry will have the audience in hysterics.

Another comedy favourite, the irreverent Jethro, is available for the weekend – an excellent choice for fans of his individual comedy which has propelled the Cornishman to the top of the UK's stand-up list.

Jethro regularly sells out across the country, but this is a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of a Warner Break and see one of the UK's biggest-selling character comics in a (not too) intimate setting!

Stand-up old-boy Mike Reid is another comedy great taking to the stage of your choice for the weekend. Reed has been a stand up comic for as long as he can remember, but really took to the nation's heart as the original dodgy cockney car dealer Frank Butcher in Eastenders.

Fans of his quick-witted and jibing comedy can arrange to see him at a number of fabulous venues.

So for anyone wishing to enjoy the luxury of an historic hotel in a stunning location, a fun and lively atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, great food, and a hilarious comedy star, aim for a Warner Break.
