New Maps Launched for European Ski Resorts

Mountmaps, makers of three dimensional ski-maps, has introduced another six titles to the range for the 2005/06 season.

Building on the success of last year, Mountmaps have now designed their pop-up plastic maps for the Paradiski area in France, the Verbier area in Switzerland, the Via Lattea in Italy and the Schladming area, Kitzbühel area and Zillertal Arena in Austria.

The two titles launched last year covering Les Trois Vallées in France and the SkiWelt in Austria have been redesigned for this year's season.

The maps highlight key contours and features of the mountainside as well as showing runs, ski lifts and resort details.

This year's redesign has introduced a lanyard with a quick release clip and safety neck clip as an optional extra to help keep the maps accessible whilst on the slopes.

Stephen Brittain, director and creator of Mountmaps said: "We developed these maps to put the ski and snowboard experience into your hands, ski areas are massive spaces and it's hard to visualise all that's on offer using existing ski maps.

"Many people get lost and some places look harder to get to than they really are. We're delighted to now offer an even wider range of Mountmaps with more to follow later this season."
