New Terminal Building for Dublin Airport
Dublin is hoping to dramatically increase its passenger traffic from around 18 million people a year to closer to 30 million. "I am confident that by working closely with the airlines and other stakeholders, the DAA can now deliver at Dublin Airport, the dynamic gateway that Ireland's 21st century economy requires and the high standards of comfort, safety and efficiency that our passengers and the broad community of airport users have a right to expect," DDA chairman Gary McGann. "The time for talking about these facilities is over, it's now time for action and delivery." With demand for air travel in Europe set to grow significantly over the next two decades, airports throughout the region are looking to expand their capacity.
