Event organisers are primarily responsible for the production of events such as exhibitions, festivals, conferences, social events and product launches. The job plays an active role from conception of an event through to completion to ensure plans run smoothly and efficiently.

Candidates could also benefit from the ability to think on their feet, should a certain part of the event not go to plan – securing alternative entertainment, for example, or changing plans due to adverse weather conditions.
